National Media Confederation was established on National Press day at Press club of India, 1,Raisina Road ,New Delhi on 16 th November 2016 by Known Media Personalities Known Media personalities and leaders across the country. The session was formally inaugurated by Hon'ble Member of Parliament from sambalpur ,Odisha &Former minister Sri Nagendra Pradhan followed by a National Seminar on Role of Media and Challenges ahead. Hon'ble Union minister of Tribal affairs Sri Jual Oram who couldn't attend the celebration due to urgent meeting convened by hon'ble Prime Minister had given telephonic best wishes for the program
